it all started with a milk delivery

We are Kate and Zack, the owners of Orb Weaver Creamery. While we both do a little bit of everything around here, Zack is the primary cow guy and I’m the cheese gal, which is actually how we met one another. I was working as a cheesemaker in southern Vermont and every morning a truck filled with milk cans would be delivered to us from a local dairy. One morning I opened the sliding door and Zack was there, ready to hand me the hundred pound milk cans. When the last one was rolled into the creamery I closed the door and announced to all the cheesemakers that I had just met my future husband. Over the next few weeks I would always volunteer to do the backbreaking work of catching the milk cans as they slid off the bed of the truck. This is how we got to know one another, and eventually my coworker asked him out for me, our chatting was holding up the production of cheese.
